Johann Hiebl will head Continental’s Automotive’s Infotainment & Connectivity business unit from Dec. 1, the German automotive supplier said Thursday.
Hiebl, 51, Â joined Continental’s Body & Security business unit in 1985 and has held a series of management positions at the company in Europe, the US and Japan.
Most recently, Hiebl headed a customer segment in Continental’s Infotainment & Connectivity division. He took up that position in 2011.
Infotainment & Connectivity is part of Continental’s Interior Division. Hiebl will be based in Deer Park, Illinois, where the unit is headquartered.
