Volkswagen Group CEO Martin Winterkorn and Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche will be among the speakers, as will Opel CEO Thomas Neumann, Volvo Cars chiefÂ Hakan Samuelsson and Continental bossÂ Elmar Degenhart.
The annual conference, which is hosted by the German business daily Handelsblatt, provides a forum for senior automaker and supplier executives to discussÂ the major strategic trends for the auto industry.
One of those trends, the quest for commercially viable new forms of mobility, will be addressed by Frank Meijer, a senior Hyundai executive, who will talk about the Korean carmaker’s plans to market a fuel cell car.
Continental’s Degenhart will talk about the role advanced driver assistance systems can play in making traffic safer. The title of his presentation is: “Is zero accidents an achievable goal in traffic?”
