Nvidia will host the European version of its GPU Technology Conference in Munich October 10-12, offering participants more than 150 sessions covering a broad range of topics relevant to the auto industry.
The event will feature a keynote address by Nvidia CEO and co-founder Jensen Huang. There will be sessions on artificial intelligence, deep learning, healthcare, virtual reality, accelerated analytics, and self-driving cars.
The conference program offers a mix of standalone talks and workshops. It includes presentations by, among others, Daimler’s vice president digital vehicle & mobility, Sajjad Khan; Volkswagen Group CDO Johann Jungwirth; ZF Friedrichshafen CEO Stefan Sommer; and Weihao Gu, general manager of the intelligent vehicle business unit of Chinese internet company Baidu.
Nvidia is aiming to make its Drive PX computing platform a must-have for the next generation of vehicles, which are set to have more autonomous functions. The technology company’s platform uses machine learning to help cars acquire the capabilities to drive autonomously.
