Frost & Sullivan will host a two-day workshop in June focusing on smart mobility business opportunities resulting from urbanization and the growth of mega-cities.

The market researchers will hold a workshop titled "Urban Mobility 3.0" in London June 15-16. During the two-day event, speakers will look at opportunities for smart mobility business models, infrastructure and e-service platforms.

The organizers want to come up with recommendations on new urban mobility models and find ways to focus authorities and companies on providing products and services that consumers will need in new megacity environments. The workshop will also debate the role of electric vehicles as a sustainable transport of the future.

Speakers include Ian Allen, manager environmental strategy & Ampera at General Motors; Alexander Sixt, head of corporate development at car rental company Sixt; Bernhard Blaettel, director project mobility services at BMW; and Charles Bradsbaw Smith, who heads group e-mobility r&d at utility E.ON.
