Beta Systems Software has introduced a new version of its Beta 96 Compliance Auditor, software that detects problems in IT systems and assures continuous, documented monitoring.
The new version of the product answers questions such as who has had access rights at what time or who denied whom certain access rights. In addition, the software lets IT managers more easily implement company-wide security policies and processes.
The software has 50 standard auditing procedures that analyze IT systems. In addition, IT managers can build individual auditing procedures that use data from log or configuration files, or from a wide range of other data.
The new Beta 96 Enterprise Compliance Auditor can interface with IBM’s RACF control procedures for mainframe computers using the z/OS operating system.
