The 9th annual International CTI Symposium will take place in Berlin Nov 30 - December 2. The gathering will focus on "Innovative Automotive Transmissions Hybrid & Electric Drives."

About 50 automotive companies will present new powertrain ideas. Special attention will be paid to hybrid and full-electric drivetrains. Participants will also discuss concepts for energy storage.

Among the speakers are Manfred Klueting, vice president powertrain at BMW; Gerd Bofinger, general manager transmissions at Porsche; Masanori Ueda, engineering director at Nissan; and Timothy Leverton, head of engineering and r&d at Tata Motors.
