The Automechanika trade fair, which will  take place in Frankfurt Sep. 16 through 20, will have a special focus on tomorrow's mobility.

The fair, which is organized every other year at the Frankfurt fair grounds, will dedicate its Hall 10 to new technologies. Specialist companies will show products from areas that include storage technology, charging infrastructure, motors, electronics, lightweight construction and alternative fuels.

Automechanika is one of the world's biggest automotive aftermarket exhibitions. In 2012, the last year it was held, close to 150,000 visitors came to Frankfurt for the event, with more than 80,000 coming from outside Germany.

This year's fair also offers a lecture program, with presentations scheduled on connected cars, collision-damage management, e-mobility, the car dealership of the future and other topics.
