The fourth annual automotiveDAY conference will focus on the role of IT in fostering growth in the auto industry.

Speakers will focus on a range of topics, including the role of IT in boosting growth in the industry; how Cloud computing benefits global companies; the outlook for mobile IT; and how IT consolidation can lower costs and boost efficiency

The conference, organized by automotiveIT, will take place March 8 at the Hanover Fairgrounds convention center. It will have as its theme: IT, the nerve cord of the auto industry, and more than 400 industry executives are expected to attend.

Speakers will include Audi board member Axel Strotbek, BMW Group CIO Karl Probst, Volkswagen CIO Martin Hoffmann and Daimler CTO Peter Schneider.Among speakers from key automotive suppliers will be Continental CIO Elisabeth Hoeflich and Mann + Hummel CIO Stefan Ihringer.
