The Center for Automotive Research will host its annual Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, Michigan, August 3 to 6.

The gathering features a series of briefings and presentations focusing on some of the top issues facing the auto industry. This year, these include manufacturing, connected and automated vehicle development and new powertrains. In addition, sessions are planned about the changing role of Mexico as a car manufacturing location and the new dynamics of car sales in China, the world's biggest market.

Speakers will include General Motors CFO Chuck Stevens, Lexus USA boss Jeff Bracken, Volkswagen of America's head of marketing and strategy, Joerg Sommer, and Robert Young, vice president, purchasing at Toyota North America.
