automotiveITThe automotiveIT Group is hosting its annual carIT Congress on Sept. 28 at the Hanover Fairgrounds.

The event, which brings together key decision-makers in the automotive and IT industries, focuses on the business opportunities and challenges in the fast-growing connected-car market.

The one-day conference features top speakers from automotive companies and other stakeholders. Among them are:

  • Dieter May, senior vice president digital services & business models at premium car maker BMW
  • Johann Jungwirth, chief digital officer of Europe's largest car company, VW Group
  • Daniela Gerd tom Markotten, head of digital solutions and services at Mercedes-Benz Trucks
  • Oliver Bahns, senior vice president Connected Car at T-Systems.
In addition to these speakers, other senior executives from the auto and IT sectors will address the conference.

The carIT Congress convenes during the bi-annual IAA truck show, which is held in Hanover from 22 through 29 September.
