Hanover will once again host the annual CeBIT high-tech fair, which takes place from March 20 through 24.

The annual event, one of the world's biggest gatherings of IT and consumer electronics executives, will feature an exhibition as well as an extensive conference program.

The automotiveIT Congress, organized by the publishers of automotiveIT International, takes place March 23.

This year's CeBIT will focus on some of the biggest challenges and opportunities in the global IT industry. These include: cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, drones, virtual reality and 5G connectivity.

Partner country for this year's exhibition will be Japan and more than 120 Japanese companies are expected to have stands at the Hanover show.
