Honda will debut a new in-vehicle connectivity system in North America 0n the 2013 Honda Accord later this year.

The Japanese carmaker said HondaLink will offer the first integration by a car company of Harman's Aha application. HondaLink will provide a personalized connection to cloud-based news, information and media feeds, Honda said.

"HondaLink will enable customers to put away their phone and still stay connected to the people, music and media they love," said Vicki Poponi, assistant vice president of product planning for American Honda.

HondaLink will let drivers preset content on their smartphone. In the car, they can access personalized content via voice recognition or manual controls.

Aha will allow users to listen to Facebook and twitter audio newsfeeds, podcasts and other information. The service is free and available immediately.
