London will host an in-vehicle infotainment summit this September that focuses on the integration of Apps and devices in the car.

The two-day Global Summit, organized by London Business Conferences, takes place Sept 25-26 and features a speaker list that covers many of the world's major carmakers.

Scheduled to speak are, among others, Fiat VP of marketing innovation Candido Peterlini; Marc Pajon, vice-president engineering at Renault; Henry Bzeih, chief technology strategist at Kia Motors Connected Car; and Phillippe Colliot, senior navigation and telematics engineer at PSA/Peugeot-Citroen.

Conference sessions will look at the connectivity options provided by embedded and portable solutions; smart phone integration and the business models deployed to make money with connectivity.

In addition, speakers will discuss the standardization of operating systems and the driver distraction issues resulting from increased in-car connectivity.
