UnitedVARs, which has 20 core partner companies worldwide serving mostly small and mid-sized enterprises, was founded last year. Its aim is to deliver one-stop-support to international customers under the global responsibility of one leading partner who coordinates an entire project.
The partnership's member companies employ more than 4,000 SAP consultants in 57 countries. In 2011, they generated SAP-related revenue of more than 1.5 billion dlrs.
"The office will demonstrate our closeness to SAP," said UnitedVARs chairman Detlef Mehlmann.
He also said the group expects to do more business this year than in 2011. "For the current year, we expect a strong increase to more than 60 SAP customer projects in all key global business centers," Mehlmann said.
