T-Systems is expanding its partnership with SAP to make it easier for customers to try out the business software maker's SAP Hana in-memory database products before full-scale implementation.

The business services division of Germany's Deutsche Telekom said customers can conduct "proof of concept" deployments of SAP Hana to see what benefits the software brings.

The two companies said in a press release that SAP customers will benefit from T-Systems' cloud computing and data center infrastructure experience. At the same time the deeper partnership will let T-Systems offer its so-called "Dynamic Services for SAP HANA," which provide

customers with the possibility to limit investment in IT infrastructure.

Underlining the market opportunity, T-Systems cited a study by Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC) that found that one in four Germany companies plans to deploy SAP Business Suite powered by SAP Hana over the next three years.

"Customers can dive easily and quickly in the new world related to SAP Hana," Ferri Abolhassan, managing director of T-Systems, said in a press statement. "We provide IT departments a fast, cost-effective way to implement this technology and especially adaptable services."
