The annual Telematics Munich conference will take place Oct 29-30, with a focus on how connected services can generate additional revenue for automotive and other players.

The two-day event, which will be held at the Hilton Munich Park Hotel, will feature a range of speakers from the automotive, telecommunications and IT industries.

Confirmed speakers include Candido Peterlini, Fiat's director product concept - infotainment; Dieter Leimig, product manager connected drive at BMW; Derek Williams, general manager telematics at Toyota; and Larry Haddad, general manager product strategy & planning at Nissan.

Conference attendees will also hear the views of senior officials from various automotive and IT suppliers, including Vodafone, Delphi and Harman. And representatives from the European Commission will discuss regulatory issues.

Telematics Munich will have five tracks: content and connectivity; insurance telematics; fleet and commercial telematics; safety and mobility; and emerging markets and trends.
