For ZF, Formula E is important because it allows the company to showcase technologies that will be key to tomorrow’s electric mobility. “In no other racing series is the transfer of expertise from motorsports to volume production development as great as in Formula E,” ZF CEO Wolf-Henning Scheider said in a press release.
