The SAP community will discuss IT security, compliance and other key issues when it holds its annual partner conference on Oct 17 near the SAP headquarters in Walldorf, Germany.
The event, organized by theÂ International Association for SAP Partners (IA4SP) and the RAAD Research institute, takes place every year and is intended as a forum to discuss the common interests of companies that sell SAP-related software and rely on SAP software for their core business processes. The group's main goal is to establish a partner network and coordinate with SAP in the area of sales, consulting, support and training.
“SAP user companies want to have secure access at all times to relevant information and be able to rapidly analyze ever-greater quantities of data," said Franz Baljer, IA4SP's managing director. "ItÂ is only by so doing that they will be able to quickly respond to new market requirements.”
In addition to security issues, the group will focus on mobility and in-memory computing.
The conference will feature an address by an SAP executive on the eco-system built around the business software maker's products as well as several other presentations by SAP and partner executives .
The SAP partner conference groupts managing directors, IT professionals and marketing and sales managers from SAP partners.
