Christine Grabmair has taken over from Gerd Niehage as CIO of German automotive lighting specialist Hella.

Grabmair served as IT boss of the components technology division of steel group ThyssenKrupp until February.

At Hella, Grabmair will play a major role in further developing the group’s digital strategy. In particular, she is expected to focus on applications and platform and cloud strategy.

She will oversee the rollout of Office 365 software and Windows 10.

Grabmair has a busines studies degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and holds a master’s degree in information systems management from Germany’s Goettingen University.
