The international CES is staging an Asian version of its flagship Las Vegas consumer electronics trade show in Asia this year. CES Asia will take place in Shanghai May 25 through 27.
One of the keynote speakers at the event will be Rupert Stadler. The Audi CEO, noting that China is Audi's biggest sales market, said in a press statement: "It is natural for us to show a strong presence here." And he added that "just as the Asian markets will play a crucial role in the future of the automobile, so too will electronic systems.”

The car companies have used the show to exhibit new technologies, including autonomous driving and parking, advanced new infotainment systems and innovative lighting concepts.
CES Asia will focus on connectivity, innovation and the internet of things, with exhibitors representing 14 product categories. These range from 3D printing, automotive technol0gy, health and home entertainment, to robotics, video gaming and wearables.
Next to Stadler, D.C Chien, IBM CEO for Greater China, and Kirk Skaugen, senior vice president client computing at chipmaker Intel, will hold keynotes in Shanghai.
