Nvidia is hosting its annual GPU Technology Conference (GTC) in San Jose, California, March 24-27. The event is billed as the world's biggest and most important conference for GPU developers.

Nvidia is a leader in graphics processing and the California-based company says the conference provides a broad range of opportunities to discuss the latest GPU technologies. Visual computing has gained in importance in the auto industry, as carmakers struggle to develop better displays to deal with exploding volumes of in-car information and functions.
The San Jose event features 5o0 conference sessions focusing on scientific discoveries and innovations; hands on programming labs and technology demos. "Summit" sessions will focus on digital manufacturing, graphics virtualization, mobile technologies and other key areas.
