Saab Automobile is implementing a cloud-based travel and expense management system developed by Sweden’s eBuilder.

The project is part of a larger contract between the Swedish automaker and British-based technology services provider Logica.

Under the terms of the agreement, eBuilder will provide a fully integrated travel management process that synchronizes information automatically between Saab’s back-office systems and travel providers.

One of the reasons Saab opted for the service is the speed of implementation and delivery it could offer, eBuilder said. The project started in September and the solution will go into production by year-end.

eBuilder is a global supplier of cloud-based processes that allow companies to automate control and manage a range of financial, administrative and other operations. The eBuilder service, which has more than 500,000 end users in 60 countries, provides companies with the ability to standardize and customize processes.
