Many people would welcome a future of shared mobility, electric and autonomous vehicles and deliveries by drone, but most don’t believe they will see it anytime soon. Matthias Loebich, another expert at consultants BearingPoint, said in a press release that autonomous vehicles, alternative powertrains and fewer privately owned cars will define tomorrow’s mobility. But government action is needed on many fronts to make this vision reality.
