The automotiveIT Group is hosting its annual automotiveIT Forum - Logistics and Production - during the Hanover Trade Fair on on April 27.

The forum looks at how Industry 4.0 is transforming car building through the introduction of new systems, concepts, robotics, networking and other manufacturing technologies.

The one-day conference, which has as its theme "Future Factory,"  brings together decision makers from the car industry and their IT service providers.

Speakers include Audi's head of manufacturing for the A4, A5 and Q5 models, Peter Hochholdinger; Gerd Niehage, CIO of supplier Hella; Marzell Bandur, director supply chain planning at General Motors' Opel unit; and Volkswagen logistics specialist Malte Schmidt.

The conference language is German.
